Should oil companies and investment agencies be allowed to continue to ruin this country with their greed?

Or should somebody step up and put a muzzle on the hungry lion whose only interest is self preservation. Why should the freedom of private industry be allowed to put the whole nation in bondage?Should oil companies and investment agencies be allowed to continue to ruin this country with their greed?
Is it possible for anyone to stop them? There seems to be an anomaly in the free market system.Should oil companies and investment agencies be allowed to continue to ruin this country with their greed?
Until the government %26amp; the corporations are intertwined --- 'Corporations' shall keep ruling over a free nation. They pay Congress a large sum of money in return for favors. So until Congress keeps passing laws in favor of corporations at the expense of electorate, the populace shall keep paying a heavy price.

Irony is people don't even have a slight idea that in reality it is actually the corporations that own the government. Literally!!! Instead it seems it's not difficult to suck a large portion of population into propaganda.

';If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.';

~ (Thomas Jefferson), 1802 in a letter to then Secretary of the Treasury, Albert Gallatin

';It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.';

~ (Henry Ford)

The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations.

~ Noam Chomsky Z Magazine, May 1998
I am not willing to sell out my freedom and liberty for the illusion of cheaper gasoline by becoming a socialist country like Russia.

They can't even get gas over there. Why would we want to do that?

Gasoline has not increased in price any more than any other product we buy. What is the big deal?

Jeesh America sure has a lot of wimpy whiners now days. Get a grip.
Of course. It's nothing, a couple of CIA operatives can't accomplish by bribing a few of these oil executives into doing by kidnapping a few of their family members.
