What oil companies currently drill in the Gulf of Mexico?

Well I live in Florida near the west coast and I've heard from alot of people you can get hired almost immediately to work on an oil-rig in the Gulf. The problem is I have not the slightest clue what companies run rigs out there... I would like to get the names and go on their sites to see whos hiring, for what and apply DIRECTLY.What oil companies currently drill in the Gulf of Mexico?
Well, about 10 years ago, you could get hired, no experience, no certs, no training. Entry-level paid about $550 a week back then.





Nowadays you'll need certs and training before they will even let you on an offshore rig or platform.





It takes a while to get everything and it costs about $1,500.
